NYOS Charter School—Not Your Ordinary School—is a free, public charter school that was founded in 1998 by a group of parents who wanted more out of education for their children. It is through a commitment to our students, our staff and our academic excellence that we have been able to grow to serving more than 1,000 students in PreK through 12th grade.

As a tuition-free, public charter school, NYOS receives about $700 less per student in government funding compared to traditional public schools. NYOS Charter School's academic results are substantially higher than those of surrounding schools, and as a charter school, we rely on the support of our school community to continue our commitment of academic success.

Our middle school volleyball team AND our varsity volleyball team were undefeated during regular season league games this season!

Both teams will now play in the Texas Charter School Athletic & Academic League (TCSAAL) Sub-Regional Volleyball Playoffs next Monday, October 28th at 5:00 PM (middle school) and 6:15 PM (varsity) at the Round Rock Sports Center (2400 Chisholm Trail Round Rock, TX 78681).

Tickets are just $5 each for adults and students 8 years old and up. Children under 8 years old get in for free! Help us cheer on our Jags during their playoff games!
